So recently, I’ve been getting a lot of emails asking, you know, Dan, what would you do if you were starting over. And so today, right, cover the importance of building your focus, building your list. Now, I want to introduce you to five tips to use emails so that you can grow, make more money, have a bigger impact, and put yourself in a position to build an incredible business. Now, let me speak to the elephant in the room here. Because a lot of people say, well, email is what is dead, right. And I don’t want to send more than, say, one email a month or one email a week. Now the problem is, you know, what do we see? You know, have you noticed that email rates have decreased quite a bit, you know, maybe your open rates, if you’re sending out emails are somewhere on a low end, maybe 5% 8% 10% 15 20%? Somewhere in that range? Well, there’s something you can do about it. Now, why this is important for you to understand is, according to Statista, do you realize that yesterday, did you know that yesterday approximately 293 point 6 billion emails, according to STATISTICA? went out yesterday? See, if you’re not sending out emails, your competition probably is and if people are not getting your emails and responding to your emails and potentially buying from you, they’re probably buying from someone else. Right? And so you know, also, there’s over 3.9 billion people worldwide who have emails, according to statistics, and the Direct Marketing Association, abbreviated DMA says that for every dollar you invest, and I invest in email, there’s a $42, return 42 to one, where else can you get that kind of return? So if you had an ability to get 42 to one, how often would you put a coin in that machine? Would it be once a month? Would it be once a week? Or would you likely start looking at how could you do what a lot of the big brands do and start doing that every single day. So I’m gonna introduce you to the key tips to leverage email number one is engage them. So here’s a quick tip for you to use. I encourage you that if you’re you know, building a list, you know, some people call this a list building tool. Other people call this, you know, a lead magnet when people come in, right, they get the first introductory, you know, some people call it an indoctrination email, or a welcome, email and encourage you to put this type of message at the top right important. We need to confirm your email, please reply to this email with yes to let us know you receive the message. Also, immediately move the email to your inbox. For more instructions, click here, right now, you’ll get a lot of people who will respond yes, and you can actually start the conversation immediately. And you can engage them quickly. By getting them to respond. Yes, it also boosts up your engagement rates, which actually helps with your open and delivery rates for the future. Now you might be going, Well, Dan, I don’t know what to put for the instructions. Well, I’ve got you covered there I got your back. So here’s a simple template that you can model from right here. Right very important below you’ll find instructions on how to make sure you receive emails that you get from us right and there’s directions and the directions essentially are how to whitelist your email now hold on for a second because you might go Dan you’re going kind of quick I’m going to give you a link here in just a second for you to be able to grab this is well Email Delivery Email whitelist process your key to email delivery made easy with this free tool. So do you want the tool well, you can go get the tool at this URL, you’re probably going to want to take a quick picture of this you’re going to want to go to it and you can actually get your whitelist instructions as well really, really critical it’ll boost up your email engagement email rates and your delivery rates will likely go up tip number two welcome emails have it up to an 82% open rate so look at creating a warm up welcome email and or a welcome sequence you know get response you know noted these statistics as well and of course yours might be lower it might be higher are somewhere in the middle just depending on what you’re doing with your email, right number three tip right use personalization you know, if you use personalization potentially in the first name you The subject line or in the email itself or throughout the email personalizing is really, really crucial. Here’s the key whether use specific names in personalizing your subject lines or in the body copy of your email is right the copy, right the email, like you’re talking to one single person, right? One single person, it’ll increase your engagement, it will increase your click rates, it’ll increase your overall impact with what you do. Now, according to lifestyle marketing 2017, they said that you have an increase up to 50% greater open rates when you personalize your email. So that leads us to Tip Tip number four, send follow up emails to your unopened emails. So for example, if you ever send out an email, right, and then if you go in your stats, it’ll show you how many open and how many didn’t send a follow up email maybe from another team member or otherwise, to the ones who did not open the next day, you’ll see a certain percentage increase the open again, it’s about increasing the engagement of your emails over time. And the email providers really love this stuff, right? Email number five, if you want to increase your engagement, your click rates, potentially, if you’re selling stuff, increase the amount of stuff that you sell with what you do, follow this strategy video with email. So you might go I don’t know how to put an email together with a video in it, well just get a screenshot of the video, and then make it clickable and you can link put a link and then drive it to another page with the video. According to mar tech 2017, click rates are up to 300% higher when you have an image of a screenshot or a video that people can ideally click to or through in the emails. Oops, went the wrong way there. Oh, let me give you a bonus segment, which is segmenting your list segmenting your list. Right. If you segment your list you have basically you have engaged lists, and you have unengaged lists. So you can get as finite with this as you want to. But a simple thing to think about is you have people open the list and then you have people unopened. What you can do is take off many of the email providers have a way to be able to do this email, you know, the support staff of those email providers you might use and say hey, how can I find out who were my unopened emails for the last you know, 60 days, 90 days, I would recommend 180 days and you don’t kill them. You don’t cut them out of your legs per se. Put them in a another list of unopened or unengaged and start emailing them to try to engage them. And once they engage or open, then you can move them over to the opens. You also can do something like this with clicks. You can also do this with your orders if you have people who buy stuff from you, which is really, really cool. So ideally, you’re getting a lot of value. Let me share my story if you don’t know who I am. My name is Dan Kuschell, I run a company called Breakthrough3X. I’ve actually built and grown 11 companies over the last 30 years, roughly 30 years. And, you know, some companies, by the way, not everything’s been, you know, amazing. I crashed three companies, you know, I’ve been through bankruptcy, divorce and other things. But I have built a handful, like eight companies roughly, that have either been seven or eight figure companies, I’ve sold a couple companies, I’ve been able to buy companies I’ve done Angel very fortunate. Right? And so my journey real quickly, is I found out that the number one asset that most companies want when they buy your business, especially small businesses say $50 million in under a year, right? Is they come to realize that the top asset is your list, right? The top asset is the list, right. And when we built one of our companies that we sold, we had over 100,000 clients in our list, and we had over 2 million subscribers. And that made it a very fruitful asset for the people who are buying our company, right. These are pretty simple things that you can start using right away. One of my favorite stories, by the way, is a client of ours, Phil Mutrie. And when he, when we met some time ago, he had been struggling maybe like you he tried a lot of different things that hadn’t worked for him. And he was really trying to build out programs and courses and all these different types of things. We went to the basics, the basics of what we’re talking about today. And you know, as this as he struggled for a long time, started working with us, in fact, up till us over a year, two years, something like that he had earned like $9 or some some amount like that it was pretty, pretty crazy $9 And in four months of us working that he was able to grow up to 15,000 a month in his business and now more traffic and he also works and helps men, you know, hold a stronger position. He’s one of our favorite people, but he had become a master of these simple principles and building an email list is one of the ways he started. So if I were new Getting started today, I would hope someone would encourage me to do what I’m sharing with you today, which is to build your greatest asset and the beginning as a small business, which is build your list. Build your list. Now you might be saying, Well, Dan, this is amazing.
